I’ve always been a fan of movies, especially those of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. I knew I would like this podcast when I heard that this podcast would tell the story of how George and Steven’s lives intertwined as they filmed Star Wars and Jaws at the same time. But I wasn’t prepared for the rich audio storytelling that Blockbuster would bring to the table.
I ate up the first season and have re-listened to it several times. While I’m not a huge fan of James Cameron, I also enjoyed the second season and appreciated learning more about Cameron’s history and how it has influenced his film making.
The podcast hasn’t released new episodes since 2020, but I would jump back in if a third season was ever released.
