Today is Father’s Day, so I thought I would share some of my favorite quotes about fathers. I’m extremely lucky to have had so many fathers in my life: my Dad, both of my Grandfathers, and so many of my Uncles. And, I’m so proud of being a Dad myself (just ask all of my coworkers who have to put up with me sharing photos all the time.) I hope all of you are able to take time today to celebrate your fathers and remember how they have helped shape you into the person you are today.
“By the time a man realizes that maybe his father was right, he usually has a son who things he’s wrong.”
Charles Wadsworth
“A daughter needs a dad to be the standard against which she will judge all men.”
Gregory E. Lang
“Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a Dad.”
Anne Geddes
“The older I get, the smarter my father seems to get.”
Tim Russert
“My father didn’t tell me how to live. He lived and let me watch him do it.”
Clarence Budington Kelland
“A father is a man who expects his son to be as good a man as he meant to be.”
Frank A. Clark
