I know this has been (incorrectly) circling around social media all year, but today really is the day that Marty McFly traveled to the future in Back to the Future 2 (arguably the worst movie of the trilogy that is only saved by the fact that it sets up the excellent third story). I went back recently to re-watch the films and got to thinking about how much the 1980s view of 2015 got right (video conferencing, the fact that fax machines are still around) and spectacularly wrong (hoverboards, flying cars, and Jaws 19). What part of the Back to the Future vision of 2015 do you wish existed. (And I know all the Cubs fans out there are rooting for the Cubs winning the World Series.)
To honor this (completely unimportant) day, enjoy this short video with a remix from Eclectic Method using sounds from the Back to the Future trilogy.
