CIO Insights has a great summary of some recent research into the impact that users have on overall cybersecurity. Not surprisingly, the vast majority of risk comes from the smallest percentage of users. As IT professionals, we should give greater care and focus on managing the access rights given to these users. As Audit professionals, we can add additional value by putting greater focus on these user accounts and identifying potential issues with them.
