Hackers Now Stealing Your Loyalty Rewards & Points

We’ve all heard about credit card information being targeted in security breaches, but this perspective from the Consumerist highlights another risk area that can be overlooked: loyalty points.  We do a lot to protect our credit card information, but hackers are now looking to access loyalty point programs to redeem points for travel, gift cards, and other merchandise.  (And possibly your credit card information if you have a saved card).  This article should be a good reminder to check on the security of your loyalty program accounts.
